At a request from the editors of Diseña Magazine, I have translated the Open Letter into Spanish, to be published shortly. The rights of this translation have been waived in support for this initiative. I plan to mail it to Professor Margolin, whom I had the chance to meet on occasion of the Chile Design Biennale, as soon as I get clearance from the editors. I also plan to read it and discuss with my students in my design studio class at UDD.

Fields of Action
It increases the opportunities for citizens to participate in deliberative processes. It focuses on transparency (which enables citizens to be aware of the on-going process of governance) and deliberative methods (which is the opportunity to be better involved in decision making processes).
